Question 1

Do I need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Usually not for exterior work, as long as we can reach the areas being cleaned. Interior window cleaning needs someone home unless arranged ahead.

Question 2

Why are most estimates done remotely?

Accepted Answer

It saves you time and keeps prices competitive. We use property information and your photos. In-person estimates are available if you prefer.

Question 3

Why don't you pressure wash roofs?

Accepted Answer

Pressure can damage shingles, remove granules, force water where it doesn't belong and void manufacturer warranties. Our soft wash treats growth safely.

Question 4

Will all stains come completely clean?

Accepted Answer

Not always. Algae, mildew and moss usually respond very well. Rust, oxidation and deep stains in porous surfaces may not fully come out. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.

Question 5

How often should I have my home cleaned?

Accepted Answer

It depends on trees, shade, moisture and sun. Most soft-washed homes stay clean 1–5 years; we'll suggest a schedule after your first service.

Question 6

Are your methods safe for my landscaping?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We pre-wet plants, keep watering during the service and rinse afterward. "The solution is dilution."

Question 7

What forms of payment do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Cash, check and most major credit and debit cards. We don't carry change, so please have the exact amount for cash.

Question 8

Why don't you use the same method on every surface?

Accepted Answer

Every surface and condition is different, so we choose the safest effective method for each one.

Question 9

How do I prepare?

Accepted Answer

Move vehicles, patio furniture, grills and potted plants if you can. For interior windows, move fragile items. Pets are welcome but please secure them during service.

Question 10

What if it rains?

Accepted Answer

Rain doesn't affect most services. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule. Very light rain is fine for roof treatments.

Question 11

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Fisher Exterior Solutions is licensed and insured.

Question 12

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Window cleaning has set per-pane prices; see our Pricing page. Everything else is quoted per property after a quick photo review, and estimates are always free.

Question 13

Do you work on commercial properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we take on select commercial projects in addition to our residential work. Every commercial property is different, so the best thing to do is reach out with the details and we'll talk through whether it's a good fit and what it would involve.

Question 14

How long until roof moss is gone after a treatment?

Accepted Answer

The soft wash treatment kills the moss, algae and lichen, and your roof usually looks brighter right away. The dead growth then releases over time — often several months, and sometimes longer for heavy moss — with rain rinsing it naturally. If you'd like the dead moss cleared off sooner, we offer a roof blow to remove it. That's a separate service, quoted on its own, and is not included in the soft wash price.
